The Grain of America
As a craftsman looks carefully at a piece of wood that he can sculpt into a work of beauty or a useful object, he looks for the inner strength
and beauty contained. This strength is a bond the wood has as a whole, not as its individual fibers. It is the Grain that leads to the beauty
and strength and an artisan will find a way to bring its best qualities to the surface.
The Grit of America
The soil we stand upon holds the Grit of America’s citizens. Here Americans with great unyielding courage stood their ground in the face of
adversity no matter the danger or hardship that came their way. They held firm to the beliefs of the mind and spirit. This fortitude has
carried these United States to where she is today and we must not allow this spirit to ever die.
The fruit of our labor will never spoil.
Those Americans that work hard and give America the Grain and Grit within their soul will always be rewarded. These fruits of our labors
may not have monetary value, but it does have the wealth of freedom for each individual. This freedom does not have a shelf life, nor is it
perishable. It shall remain alive and flourishing as long as there are Americans willing to work hard for it, fight for it and respect it.
The grass is always greener right above the septic tank.
Don’t believe the promises made by some liberal politicians, that once elected they will make the grass greener, because right below the
surface of that promise is a bunch of crap!
As individuals we are strong, but together as a free nation we are invincible.
There is a quote from President Ronald Regan that I love, “Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the
world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have.”
As we talk about the wars and climate of the politics in today’s world, we must remain firm to the belief that freedom is the greatest goal of
all people throughout the World.
Start a love affair with America.
As Americans, we shouldn’t consider our great land as if it were a simple theme park rollercoaster ride. There we wait for hours for a 10
second thrill that in a few days is completely forgotten about. It should be a romance that is taken slow and methodical to absorb all the
beauty that lies deep within.
Like the train that leaves its station slow and deliberate with the sturdy tracks beneath, we feel the power that drives. Each clack of the rail
beneath pulsates with our history and heritage that echo in our being. As the land slowly crosses along side as if it were a gentle wind, we
absorb the subtle graciousness she has to offer in each mile.
From the grandeur or our great mountain ranges, to the soft golden waves of grain, our national heart warms with pride and honor. For on
this trip, we have truly fallen in love with our blessed America.
